Curt received his bachelor’s degree from the Metropolitan State University of Denver in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Computer Information Systems in 1999 and immediately began his career as a Juvenile Probation Office and Adult Parole Officer.
While working for the Department Of Corrections in Denver County, Colorado, Curt spent his evenings focusing on his true passion for digital art and web development earning a Certificate in Web Design from the Art Institute Of Colorado in 2002. His achievements in art school and his impressive portfolio landed him his first job in graphic design shortly after.
Curt’s career transition into the graphic design field started at Paragon Graphics and Printing where he honed his knowledge of graphic design, page layout and printing logistics ensuring any project would be camera ready. This advantage lead to his career breakthrough at Adams 12 School District where he quickly rose to the position of Senior Graphic Designer in 2003. In 2005 Curt, now the Art Director for Haifleigh Brand Work in Denver, met his wife and business partner Colleen and in 2009 The TradeMark Studio was born.
After relocating to Sonoma County, California, Curt handpicked a team of unique individuals that match his dedication to see businesses prosper through creative marketing. He has spent the last 10 years working closely with many local and national brands – educating clients on marketing strategies, digital advertising and Local SEO techniques that secure top-level Google Search Rankings resulting in their businesses obtain and retain customers. He loves to create a one on one relationship with his clients and believes this allows him to become an integral part of their team as their marketing consultant as well as a trusted friend.
You will learn very quickly that Curt is very passionate about his work, and is not someone who can sit ideally by. If he is not working with TradeMark clients helping them build their businesses through marketing, you will find him working with artists and supporting a thriving art scene by hosting art shows at his art gallery Agent Ink located in downtown Santa Rosa. Curt enjoys spending quality time with Colleen and their daughter Alice playing at the beach, running around in the backyard and cooking together.
